About the Owner

John Davis, Owner & Founder

John’s career in commercial landscape maintenance began as a teenager, working as a labourer for a leading national landscape franchise. Through hard work and leadership, he quickly advanced to running his own crew and later became foreman on large-scale capital landscape projects.

Recognized for both his operational knowledge and people skills, John was promoted into sales and marketing management, where he played a key role in driving business growth. Under his leadership, the franchise achieved #1 ranking in total revenue across more than 250 franchise locations nationwide—a testament to his ability to align service delivery with client needs and property performance.

John later expanded his experience beyond landscaping, taking on business development roles with major national organizations, including Coca-Cola, where he further strengthened his focus on customer experience, service reliability, and delivering consistent value to clients.

When the opportunity arose to purchase his own franchise territory, John chose a different path. He believed inflated franchise fees and marketing requirements would ultimately cost customers more, so he decided to build his own company—one focused on fairness, accountability, and treating every property like it matters.

Seeing a clear need for a professional, dependable landscape maintenance provider in the Ridge Meadows area, he founded Ridge Meadows Landscape Maintenance to deliver the level of care, communication, and professionalism property owners and managers deserve.

Deeply rooted in the local community, John is a hockey coach and serves on the board of the Senior A Coquitlam Adanacs. He enjoys hiking, biking, going to the gym, and spending time with his family including his miniature dachshund, Oakley.
